Introduction:
Hoteam HTQF active power filter (APF) provides a truly effective harmonic solution with the advanced active harmonic compensation technology. HTQF APF behaves like a harmonic current generator. It measures harmonic currents generated by nonlinear loads and cancels the harmonics by generating currents with the same amplitude but opposite phase of the harmonics and injecting it to the lines to make the source current sinusoidal.

Harmonic compensation: HTQF AHF module has unprecedented filtering efficiency thanks to the unique algorithm and individual harmonic selection capability:
–Selection of harmonics up to the 50th harmonic
–Harmonic attenuation factor better than 97%.
–Desired harmonic levels can be preset for each selected harmonic
–Compliance with all aspects of harmonic regulations including compliance with individual harmonic limits
–Resolving harmonic problems due to both low frequency and high frequency harmonics
–Increase system reliability especially for electrical distribution network with high THDv
Dynamic reactive compensation function: HTQF AHF module can perform stepless reactive power compensation of inductive and capacitive loads:
– Avoid penalties from utilities
– Allow generator compensation without the risk of overcompensation
– Compensate capacitive loads such as modern blade-server systems, allowing for UPS-systems to run at nominal rating
Unbalance correction: HTQF AHF module can perform load balancing in both 3- and 4-wire systems
–Reduce the impact on the loads due to voltage unbalance.
–Reduce the voltage drop between neutral and earth. This increases the safety of the installations and allows sensitive loads to operate.
Four programmable task-priority working modes:
–HTQF AHF module offering the most flexible power quality solution for harmonic filtration as well as power fact or correction (PFC), including: Harmonic first mode, Reactive power first mode, Harmonic only mode, Reactive power only mode. Users can select the working mode freely via HMI depending on site conditions.
